A grand entrance introduces customers to the finely detailed interior of 801 Steak & Chop house. Located on the mezzanine of the tallest building in the state of Iowa, the restaurant serves traditional steakhouse fare, as well as seafood and pasta. The interior is 1929 Art Deco, executed with cherry finishes on drywall, and accentuated by hardwood floors. Polished bronze hardware and accents, trim and details in light sconces and chandeliers create an atmosphere of understated elegance. All collateral elements from menus, menu jackets, matchbooks, napkins, coasters, swizzle sticks, etc. reflect the restaurant's period theme.
